Situated in an elevated position with sea views and an NGS Garden, the aim of this project was to create a new open plan kitchen and seamless junction detail.  The Clients – a local Artist and pottery maker- also wanted us to enhance the living space by creating, not only usable wall space for their expansive art collection, but multifunctional space for their visiting friends and family.

The remodelling of the living space included the movement of the kitchen into a large kitchen / diner with adjoining snug and direct garden access, the installation of curved steel Crittall windows & doors, as well as the repositing of the main staircase.  These changes created more usable space within the property, and as a result, the house has been transformed from dark and closed to a free-flowing space with lots of natural light.
